With Routt County’s Planning Department officially accepting Discovery Land Company’s applications, the formal review process for the Stagecoach Mountain Ranch development is now underway. Spanning roughly 6,100 acres, Stagecoach Mountain Ranch is designed with balance in mind. Discovery Land Company’s plan calls for just 12% of the property to be developed, with the remaining 88% preserved as functional open space. Public hearings are tentatively scheduled to begin in early 2026, though they could come as soon as January 2026. For now, the development team continues to work closely with the county and stakeholders to ensure compliance with the 2017 Stagecoach Community Plan and to deliver on the commitments outlined in their proposal.
